Dance Class Part Deux

Howdy all...do to immensly popular demand, I'm going to attempt to make Eilish's dance class a near weekly feature. I won't send out emails everytime (no body wants that many emails from me....) but I will valiantly attempt to have them up sometime between Friday and Sunday most weeks. No video this week and not a ton of pictures...evidently Mr. Cav decided he wanted to be a photographer this week and wouldn't leave his nanny alone long enough...somehow, I'm not surprised. LOL

Eily is the one with pink leotard and black tights...

(Reminder...these are being taken inside a building through a big window with no flash...and I have a crappy little camera...so some of them won't be all that well focused...)

Eily's First Dance Class...

Eily started dance class today...the first time that she has ever been taken anywhere and dropped off. She did magnificently...never looked back after she entered the dance room...and danced her heart out. She even listened to the instructor really well...she was a little overenthusiastic about it at times, though...check out the video under this post for more on that (she's the one that's ahead of everyone)...

Anyway...pictures!!!! (she's the only one without a skirt...)

Eily and Cavy do America...

It's been a big month for the kiddo's. They've been putting in lots of miles travelling all over the place. It started with a big adventure when they left Daddy and went with Grandma and Grandpa back to Michigan. They had a great time, playing in the water (sprinkler, hose, pool and water table) and running around like crazy kids. I'm so happy that they got to get home and see all those that love them and don't get to see them often enough. Especially considering it looks like we won't be making it home for Christmas this year, like the last couple of years.

When they finally came home, we went on another adventure. This time to explore the state that we live in. We went out to the Pacific Shore and spent four days checking out the beaches and Olympic National Park.

I'm still busy collecting a whole summer worth of pictures, below here are only the pictures of our trip to the ocean. I will try and get more of the other summer pictures up, but as usual I make no guarentees. LOL

This is how our trip started...they do love each other.

Hiking the trials in the Hoh Rainforest (Olympic national park...one of two temperate rainforests in the world). Eilish thought she was Dora I think...she charged ahead and did everything herself...until she was so hot and tired that she couldn't anymore. It was hilarious.

Anyway...that's all for now...I will try to get more summer pictures up, but they may end up getting pre-empted by pictures of Eily starting her dance class, Halloween, Cav's second birthday (yes, it's barely two months away) and all the other crazyness that goes on post summer.

Eily and the Unit go to the Zoo...

Howdy all...for those of you who are confused by the title of this post, allow me to explain. Cav's middle name is Gabriel...being the former Detroiter that I am I naturally started calling him G-Unit. In the course of the last 19 months (yes...he's 19 months old...talk about freaky!!!) that has devolved into me just calling him Unit...or the Unit...thus the blog title. Hilarious part...he responds to Unit as well as to his own name...sometimes better!!!

Anyway in another fit of playgroup fun, the kids went to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle today. They had a blast...spent all morning and most of the afternoon there and they only saw maybe 1/2 of the zoo...gotta love it.

Pictures below...enjoy!
