It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a... what the heck is that?


It is a Large Cargo Freighter! Can you believe that thing flies? The LCF, now named the Dreamlifter, is a converted 747 airplane designed to carry whole sections of the new 787 Dreamliner around the world for assembly. Cool huh! We were driving home, and I just happend to have the camera and was able to take these great pictures. The thing is gigantic, and it literally looked like it was just above the power lines and coming straight for us! It was wild! Right now it is green, which is just the primer. It will be painted and then look like THIS

Since it was such a beautiful and clear day, we also decided to take a little detour and gett some pictures of the mountains! It really is beautiful here!
